I agree but during the period of 2005 - 2008 under luxenborg they did not spend big.
With the exception of a declining Van Nistelrooy there was no major player.

I think Atlético deserve more credit rather than everyone slaughtering Real Madrid. It's impressive that they are continuing in the same way.

That's true, Henrik.
People laud the prem because workmanlike teams like Stoke can take points off the big boys. But you wouldn't see them win the league like Atleti did in Spain.
