Just one point, well maybe three...

Separate Everton from the free spending Arsenal and United. When you also consider that two of the four games played so far were against two big spending title challengers then our points gaily is looking good.

Not bad for a squad that didn't add to the loan signings made last season with EL to come it will better suit our possession based style and give our youth players a chance to play. Imagine what could have happened if Roberto ha spent millions with multiple recruits coming in! We could have had a spurs situation on our hands. But proven PL talent mixed with exciting home grown talent is the way we have to go and we are keepin pace with our rivals for a top four spot. City and Chelsea are a mile ahead of the rest and once again Southampton look a danger.

R1,what did you think of BR complaining about his budget?

====

Is he moaning about having so much to spend?

Wow. United are now within a point of Arsenal in the push for 4th along with Everton.

Sure without the other sides distraction of CL or EL football they will do well.

You do realise Man city are only 2 points ahead of Everton don't you, besides today was the first time most of our new signings played all in one game apart from Shaw. Liverpool spent big, Arsenal spend biggish, Man utd spent big. Fact is Licester City are level with Everton gd pts wise.

United and Everton are not competition for City and Chelsea!

They are however running for top four against each other and arsenal

Man td not competition for Chelsea or Man city. Have you seen the Man utd team. Most expensive side to boot.

Well then you should be targeting the top three as a minimum then

The mighty QPR rolled over today........what a move Rio was for LVG

I would say man utd squad is the strongest in the league. The problem has been 10-11 players are injured and about 4-5 who did well in preseason got injured. We still got carrick to comeback too, our main midfielder. Strongest squad since 07-08 season.

i'd laugh my ollies off if Utd won the league this season (obviously if we don't) and the RS are out of the top 5

You would swear there are 4 games left to play and not just 4 games being played.
