PROS:
Dave Hockaday's no longer in charge.
We've got better players for every position except up top.
The atmosphere's better than whenever I came up last season.
We've got 2-3 youngsters worthy of playing at this level.
When a player gets injured, we no longer have to play andy Hughes to plug the gap.
Noel hunt isnt in a Leeds shirt.
Readfern looks like he should be trusted with an even better financed academy set-up, though I'm not sold on him as head coach.
If Pearce can keep up this form then he'll be one of the best in the league this season.
CONS
Dave Hockaday was put in charge of the team.
Cellino never went and spent 2-3 million on a proven, in-form goalscorer out of the McCormack fee.
We STILL don't have a winger. (How many Michail Antonio's does £11m get you?)
The level of consistency has been very poor so far, although that's to be expected due to the knew faces adapting.
It's all gone very quiet on buying ER back...
Cellino is enjoying the press attention too much for my liking. And will he be able to even keep hold of the club?!
FIRST XI:
Silvestri
Behradi/Byram Cooper Pearce Warnock
Cook/Bianchi Mowatt/Austin
Antenucci Sloth Doukara
Sharp
Switching players based on tactics.
Hopefully the new boys will improve the quality of the attack.
4-2-3-1 for me.
Pleased to have the likes of the Taylors, tonge, belusci & ajose pushing for places too.
All in all, things on the pitch are looking healthy. But I can't help but have a bad feeling about the owner and his decision making...

Pros & Cons: Start of the season

Londonwhite, with respects,
Cellino never said he was going to use all, or some of the McContract money to buy players, he did say he was going to put it into buying back ER.
I believe the buy back period is Nov / Dec.
The last two games, Bolton and Brum has seen a big improvement in passing and form, defensive play and midfield play.
I agree we're still a bit slack up front, but Dukes just back from injury, so he and Antenucci may combine well.
Agree Sharp is a bit under form, may find himself on subs bench if he doesn't up his gears a bit.
All looks good for the very near future once they gel, and I think it'll be quicker than some expect.

Good list
Another con is I now lose a £1 every match I attend

There's a lot of good points and our performances are improving, along with the players attitudes.
Our lack of talent up front is worrying though.

I think were dangerous up top, we just need width. Some of Sloth's through balls will make it and Antenucci will ponce on them. Doukara looms useful and Sharp is a fox in the box. Just need to get the ball to them in better positions. Hopefully Montenegro can play out wide and well. Were screaming out for a Gradel type player.
