So with the stated aim of a 3rd (or at the very least 4th) place finish for United this season, hypothetically if we were to finish in the top 4 which one of the likely candidates would you rather displace ... Liverpool or Arsenal.
For me personally it is Liverpool as I can't stand them. Some of their fans I have met have been among the most arrogant and obnoxious people and they have what can best be described as a delusional belief that next year is their year ha ha (almost as deluded as Newcastle fans).
Arsenal dropping out would be funny too although they might get rid of Wenger who has provided years of amusement for rival teams. So it's your turn to pick...
If you had to choose...

I'd like Arsenal to stay 4th so they keep Wenger. He's a constant source of amusement every season

Spurs are getting nowhere near fourth.

I would personally love to knock Liverpool out of fourth position, but I think I'd prefer to watch Arsenal fans go into meltdown.
Some on the match-thread were already shouting Wenger Out with their comments and it happens every year!

Liverpool did not look good tonight at all. They have bought a lot of nonsense.

we had a better window than them

I'd rather replace both, i quite like Spurs and Everton so i wouldn't mind one of them getting in instead.
If i had to choose between Liverpool and Arsenal, like most, i'd choose to replace Liverpool
Liverpool's defence STILL looks terrible, it's going to be a massacre at the Bernabeu....hopefully.

I rather they lose there next 2 league games and fluke there next champions league game and then get hammered in the knockout stage as well as by Real Madrid in group stages. Europa league allows you to qualify for the champions league and with Liverpool ref bias they might go all the way in that if they finished 3rd in the group.

I think Liverpool fans are in for a shock this season. A lot of people have them figured out and Suarez is not there to do something to win a game (legally or illegally).
Sterling is still learning and is getting 'special' treatment from defenders, Sturridge is decent and Balotelli is inconsistent.
Then you look at the back 4 and their midfield and dodgy keeper and the subs bench. Not much quality there at all.
Going to be a long season for them
