The stats from International level were not from the world cup, they were during qualifiers/friendlies during the 13/14 season, so Reus being fit or not doesn't have a baring on things. For the record, Ozil is competing with the likes of Goetze, Draxler, Schurrle, Kroos & Reus for a spot of the team, so it's not like he has no competition.

No it wasn't. He is clearly a far better player. We are debating Ozil and Mata here which is fair enough but Schurle shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath.

Backed up by stats, various managers and I'm sure most on here would agree. In fact I'm sure you'd be hard pushed to find many Chelsea fans telling you Schurle is better than Mata or Ozil.

You not see when he could have played Stirling in simply with his right foot against Norway? Instead, he shifted the ball to try and tee it up for himself on his left, only to run into traffic.
