Can't See Liverpool in the top 4

Not having a go but think Liverpool bought some fairly average players, I like Lovren but think he's nowhere near a £20m player and need a leader next to him in defence instead hes got Sakho who doesn't have a clue does he.

Don't think any of the other players you've bought are ready yet to make you a top side, Lallana can't even get in the England team and he cost £25m, makes you scratch ya head a bit doesn't it.

Balotelli isnt anywhere near as good as he thinks he is, sorry, and its only a matter of time before be becomes lazy again coasting through matches like a diva. Don't think he's anywhere near as people make him out to be.

Sturridge seems to be a sicknote and you're relying on him and Sterling to pull you up the league really, top players but I think its obvious Liverpool lack the cutting edge and star quality Suarez brought. Huge blow.

Think 2nd place last year was a bit lucky and expect to see the Kop back in 5th this year. Sorry

Chelsea fans have no right to discuss top flight football with Man United and Liverpool fans as most of them were supporting Leyton Orient 10 years ago.
Likewise, until Liverpool actually win the Premier League the fans of that club have no right to question the
title credentials of any other club.
Man United are better than everyone else and can say what we like. A fact that is so true it coined a well known
saying that is as much a part of the British language as the word 'crumpet:' Not Arrogant, Just Better.

The Oxford Treasury of Sayings and Quotations has recently amended this to, 'Still arrogant, but 7th'.

I think everybody outside of the red half of Merseyside thinks the same thing.

I told Liverpool fans this summer that the loss of Suarez would be massive. He was basically involved in every attack and their attacking play was what made them so great last season. Of course they disagreed and said keeping Rodgers was much more important, but they've looked very flat so far this season and we all know why
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone outside the red half of Merseyside was also saying similar things last season. That there was no way we would stay in the top four, that we would end up in our rightful place of 6/7.....

I suppose if you say the same thing every season it'll come true once and you can rejoice in saying 'I told you so'.

You're all very predictable.....

Add to that the likes of Mamba flooding our board with critiques of our signings and defensive frailties when you've spent £100m on pure
mediocrity this summer and have Sakho as one of your two main CB
===
LIES. Someone said you were making stuff up. Glad I am here to confirm it. It was on an article titled Rojo. All I said was I dont rate him and that I will wait to see him properly this season. That is what you call 'the likes of Mamba flooding our board'? I dont know whether to laugh or cry this is that ridiculous. Stop lying to prove your misplaced comments mate. Absolutely embarrassing.

Sakho is a top centre back.

He is learning the system and style of play under Rodgers but as a centre back his core skills are very good indeed.

OP i actually agree with everything you said except for last season being lucky.

Mario isn't the man for us i an afraid, he for me doesn't suit our play.

Sturridge and Sterling for me would have to both perform miracles for us to do anything this season.

4th place depends in how well Everton, Utd and possibly Spurs do....i think the 4th place team will lose and draw a lot of cheap games this season but Arsenal, City and Chelsea for me will be top 3

Fully agree. It was more down to pantomime seasons in other clubs that our own abilities that got us to 2nd in the table.
This year we will be found out.

Thankfully we've only got to beat United, Spurs, Everton & Arsenal

Not much competition really
