PREVIEW
Liverpool travel to Upton Park on Saturday evening looking to avoid back-to-back Premier League defeats following last weekend's 1-0 loss at home to Aston Villa.

Only once before have the Reds lost two league games on the spin under Brendan Rodgers, at that was over the festive period with two 2-1 defeats away to both Manchester City and Chelsea.

West Ham earned a point in an entertaining 2-2 draw at Hull on Monday, however boss Sam Allardyce is hoping for a first clean sheet of the season as the Hammers look to build on the 14 clean sheets they kept last season.

Liverpool have enjoyed this fixture over the years, claiming 16 wins in the last 22 league encounters against West Ham, with the London club winning just two.

Last season's corresponding match was a crucial one in Liverpool's bid for the title - after a first half penalty from Steven Gerrard was cancelled out just before the break, the Reds were handed a second penalty which the skipper dispatched to win a match that was steeped in controversy.

Well I hope it all works out and your theories work out and we finish where you want us to finish this year. You'll see in May when we're 7th. Goodnight.

Problem is sakho is just not good enough. Hos decision making when on the ball under pressure is nit there. You saw it today in the corner glag he is doing cruyff turn etx rather than clearing hisnlines. Last week at villa hw was diddling on the ball got out musvled

I don't agree he's not good enough buy certainly he needs to improve on trying to do cruijff turns

These two can seriously become a top pairing but they need time together.

I think Skrtel and Lovren will end up the preferred pairing
