Was listening to the game on Radio Manchester yesterday. The so called expert summariser was dear old Simon Charlton.

Hope he never gives up his day job because he is God awful at summarising football matches however he did make me chuckle with a couple of gems.

Early in the first half he said Bolton were "playing as good as they have so far this season"........that would be terrible then!

Davies had a good chance saved by the keeper to which Simon exorted that Davies should have forced the keeper into a save...even though that's exactly what the keeper did and the purpose of striker is to score goals not make keepers save them...

Made Paul Merson sound astute!

I remember when Bolton were a decent team.
Youri Djorkaeff was some player.

Loving this thread. Who would have guessed so many of our friends North of the border have been to Bolton

And they voted NO!!!
