... Have only won 5 of their last 15 tests. 4 of those far teams were Samoa, Argentina, Scotland and Italy. Is it fair to say that they're living off that victory against an over rated England side?
Their world cup warm up games have been very disappointing, especially seen as a lot of people on the old 606 were backing them to make the final. I think Ireland can forget about beating Australia and focus on the crunch game against Italy. At the present time I think Italy must really fancy their chances of qualifying for the quarter finals.

It been a roller-coaster for us. we went from the longest winning streak in our history to the longest losing streak and how to relative mediocrity.
We should however be judged on the warm ups as a whole and that will tell this weekend. But if we continue in this currant form we dont need to concentrate on the italy game because we could struggle against the USA!
As we are playing the yanks on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks they are sure to be fired up for the occasion. Alas the Yanks are easy to motivate when they have stuff like this to draw on.

9/11 or not, if we can't beat the Yanks convincingly, we have no business there.
