Amidst the euphoria of yesterday my thoughts turned to our owners.
They have transformed our club with their investment and probably the best decision they made was to stick with Nigel Pearson when plenty were clamouring for his removal.
One of the principal reasons they would have purchased the club was to raise the profile of the King Power brand throughout the Far East and beyond. Yesterday's match would have been broadcast across the world with the King Power logo to the fore and one of the biggest names in football being put to the sword. Smiles all round in the board room me thinks!
Delighted for our owners

Our owners have been nothing short of incredible in the way they have transformed our club.
What seems quite amazing in this day of egotistical or profit driven owners, ours seem to be genuinely proud of having a club in the premier league, and not totally motivated by the money it brings.
I'm not niave enough to think that money had nothing to do with it, but it's clear it's not their only motivation.
They have taken our club forward respecting out history and have invested across all levels of the club, not just on the first team as many owners with just the short term glory care about.
I've been consistent in my praise for them since they came to me club and I'm also genuinely pleased for them.
If still like to find a way for us as fans to show our appreciation more to them. I know we applaud them when they come out, but I'd still like us to get a chant for them.

Yeah I agree, what a fantastic day for them to see the club they've invested so heavily in become a club to be really proud of. They, along with Pearson, his staff and the players have really put us on the map.
The way opposition fans, managers, pundits and the media in general are praising us, is something I've never witnessed. We're even getting big decisions starting to go our way.
I also read that they are investing £3.8m on football academies in Thailand and eventually around the world to emulate Manchester United. This is more proof that they have the best intentions of the football club at heart and intend to be here for the long haul.
I'm starting to genuinely think we're good enough for the top ten now and I'm going into games thinking we're not going to get beaten anymore. Amazing feeling.
