Actually, I think the haircut adds to it. If you're going to run around chasing and sliding in at defenders and driving them to distraction, what better than to look like a... well, you decide your own adjective... as he does it? It'd make them even more likely to scythe him down recklessly, which is kind of the idea. As long as he can put up with the social media abuse from the other teams' fans, I say keep the do.

Some of the male posters on this board may not have noticed but this hairstyle is favoured by many footballers at the moment & seems to be the current fashion cut. Personally I don't like it but as its so popular I can't see Vardy changing it any time soon. As long as he keeps playing like Sunday he could wear a hedgehog on his head for all I care!

There seems to be a strong influence of early 19th century American frontier going on here.

Vardy's current barnet has a sort of Mohawk/Huron influence, and now OBV is advocating wearing a dead animal on his head, a bit like Davy Crockett (though he did choose something a bit more comfy than a hedgehog).

Vulpes, I think Davy Crockett wore a raccoon hat. It's just occurred to me that if he died his hair ginger with a white tip he could be a real fox.

My haircut is very similar and has been for a while now, but you're right, it's a fashionable haircut it's just most people aren't fashionable so don't get it 😉
