A little story to start this thread.
The last cup game (QPR) was quite memorable for me. En route to the match in the middle of the countryside with 5 miles still to go I had a blow out. The tyre deflated within seconds.
What to do? I don't change wheels. I had one attempt years ago and snapped the jack. Besides, why have a dog and bark yourself? I couldn't wait for the AA. I was struggling to make the kick off as it was. I decided to drive it as was. That was a memorable, uncomfortable and noisy drive. The car was safe and I wasn't endangering others (or myself). I dumped the car on Wetmore Road and got my pre-match meal from the Wetmore Chippy and ran to the ground.
My wheel was being changed at 11.45pm on Wetmore Road long after you had all got home presumably. I did stay behind to celebrate a bit mind you.
Remember, we predict the score at 90 minutes. The last thing we want is a draw at 90 minutes. I hope you will join me in encouraging Sharpsy to score an own goal on 90 minutes if that be the case.
I actually think that it will be a draw at 90 minutes. 1-1.

The end of our cup exploits im afraid , we will play quite well but I expect Brighton to be too clinical in front of goal on the night with two wonder goals plus a deflection ... Brewers 0-3 Brighton

I didn't enjoy that game at all. Unusually for me I wasn't in the mood for watching football and there was no real spark from the team to make me enthusiastic from the start.
We were considerably below par and Brighton didn't need to do much to win. They picked us off very professionally.
I remind myself that it was League 2 v Championship but the gulf looked bigger and it was men against boys most of the night.
Man of the Match? You'd find it hard to choose any of them really and that just about says it all. No-one really shone. I would probably have given it to Matty Palmer.

When i heard the side announced before the start i thought we would struggle . Brighton picked us off quite comfortably ,ok the lads did their best but it was really men against boys , Harness looks to be improving each game , and im sure will command a fee one day . Back to the bread and butter of league two now ,heres hoping we get back to winning ways .

We need now to Focus on the league and give the fans something to cheer about.
I hope we have our first team players back for Saturday and GR gets them pumped up, as we need a win to get back on track.
