Was the difference today, should be starting ahead of Paulinho in our cup games, he looked really good in pre season and is the best long range passer we have.
That goal was sexy!
Ryan Mason

@WindyCOYS: 5 key passes and a wonder goal - there's not an awful lot more Ryan Mason could have done in his 25 minute cameo tonight. Superb. #THFC

Your all getting carried away again, I bet if he was to start in the first XI he would stink the place out. He is hardly a 16 year coming onto the scene, he has been around for a while, and never really pushed on.

Some People are desperate for a hero. I'm glad he played well. He should be used as a sub. Take off any under performing international that starts. Let them feel the humiliation of being subbed for an academy player if needs be.
This is what we should be doing to all our high earners. Poch should not be afraid to make subs early.
Against WBA it was clear after 20 mins that there was something wrong with the set up or the players.
I'm just glad we won. the draw has also been kind. Gives Poch more time to get his team together before we face Premiership opposition.
We have a long way to go before we can think of challenging Chelsea or Man City for anything.
To think that we were once on par with them 2-3 seasons ago.

Several of the reasons he has not pushed on at 23 years old is due to his horrific injury record, bad choice of loans from the club and changing of positions from a forward to a midfielder.
Mason usually plays much deeper than he did last night but did well regardless.
Unlike the clueless commentators he is avaliable for selection however he has not featured this season due to hamstring and groin injuries respectively. Played a few times for the under 21s though.

I think that loan spell at Swindon is gonna help Mason and Pritchard push on in their careers.

It has probably put Pritchard back 12 months (he should have been playing in the league last season) .
