...when the Tots scored yesterday, I literally felt nothing, non of my usual disgust, sinking feeling in my stomach etc. I just felt....nothing, just a mild familiar feeling of "I've seen this sheeit before"
In like manner when we scored, I was happy,elated...but,again nothing like I usually felt in times past, its all rather "groundhog day at the moment"!
Arsene and Arsenal's commitment to the fourth place trophy is slowly...slowly turning me into a moderate fan, the bloody passion is slowly ebbing away, don't be mistaken, I still love this club and what it represented, but my passion is definitely being tested by the sterile, corporate, yankee "soccer" franchise we have become.
The sooner Arsene packs it in and we get a manager (and there I say even Board) in whose sole objective is winning...on the field, will go a long way to restoring some of lost passion!
O to be o to be o to be a Gooner!!!
Feeling a strange Apathy.....

Look what happened under Moyes. Champions league money is so huge no wonder Levy axes manangers every year at Tottenham. Man utd were written off after one bad season after a manager change as nobodies. I mean we had to put up with nonsense like this that never would have happened under SAF as in people coming out with these claims.
10 years to win title again like it is a near fact but expects to give moyes time more like Mills is an ABU. Man utd ended up getting Van Gaal, ABU media like Garth Crooks thinking Tottenham being better propsition then Man utd to goto. Only Savagae got anything spot on.

If Wenger leaves and Arsenal have one bad season, everyone will dismiss Arsenal as a top 4 side.

OP
same here.
The passion in me has gone, I'm pretty indifferent. We've all seen this before and will continue so as long as arsene is in charge.
I'll continue to support the team but I know our ceiling with the boss in charge.

Imagine he had the gall to say we "lack a physical presence in midfield" ffs!....two weeks after the transfer window closed! It's like he is now trolling us...if he ain't bothered he I'm not gonna raise my blood pressure needlessly!

I remember Wenger managed a side in Japan.
Arsène Wenger led Monaco to the 1987–88 league title and signed a number of prestigious players

With the club facing a second barren spell, they signed legendary future Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger, who had hitherto been relatively unknown, managing Nancy without much success. Wenger's reign saw the club enjoy one of its most successful periods, with several inspired signings, including future legends George Weah, Glenn Hoddle, Jürgen Klinsmann, and Youri Djorkaeff. Youth team policies produced future World Cup winners Emmanuel Petit, Lilian Thuram, and Thierry Henry. Under Wenger, they won the league in his first season in charge (1988) and the Coupe de France in 1989 and 1991, with the club consistently competing in the latter stages of the European Cup and regularly challenging for the league title.[8] The club could have had even greater success in this period, as it emerged in 1993 that bitter rivals Marseille had indulged in match fixing and numerous improprieties, a view that Wenger had long held.[8] In 1994, after being blocked by the Monaco board from opening discussions with German powerhouse Bayern Munich for their vacant managerial post after being shortlisted for the role, Wenger was released from the club, several weeks after the post had already been filled.

Wow look at those players he got at Monaco. Wenger finds gems.

I feel a huge apathy at times towards football... but because of the ridiculous amounts of money in it. For me, I actually praise Wenger and our board for not spending gross amounts of money, because its disgusting. I've been to South Africa, I've seen the townships and the like, and it is not great. And then Man United pay Falcao 300k a week. It's just unpleasant. At least Arsene's idealism has some principle to it.

I remember when Spurs beat us 3-2 at the Emirates, I was almost suicidal that day. Yesterday when Chadli scored I was kinda like 'meh'.
It's sad really because I miss being passionate about Arsenal but I just don't really care anymore. The whole club is a joke from top to bottom and all they do is sell us dreams. I'm done buying them.

And, from the other side of N London, when Chadli scored I too was a little subdued. We literally stole a point from you yesterday, but what does it really matter? Like you, we're hoping for 4th, but are less likely to get there. It's pathetic really, money's screwed it all up. Because of the money I hate Chelsea more than Arsenal...seriously...WTF!!! It's wrong.
