Attacking, expansive football produces more injuries than bus parking football.
As our men go down like flies there seems to be a direct corrollation to teams that week in, week out have to break down packed defences with short, sharp sprints and receiving hard tackles.
It is certainly safer to make a tackle than to be tackled.
We also have to stretch more as we dribble through defences or try to put our crosses in.
Teams that park the bus or play counter attack have a far easier ride.

It explains nothing.
Our defenders are the ones that are always getting injured not the attackers.
More likely to get injured being tackled than tackling? Tell that to Phil Jones.
