Was reading on Cricinfo coupla days back.. about the test series England hammered India in.. And the writer was summing up the series..
He (am guessing was an Indian writer) described woakes and Jordan as "medium pacers"And heres me thinking they were bowling 85+mph..
Maybe the person writing the article.. has never ever seen a quick bowler. To him everyone bowls like Stuart Binny
Confused...

Isn't there a Hollywood movie due to be released where a man goes to India to look for a baseball pitcher that can throw the ball fast while watching India play cricket on TV?

Actually the definition of fast bowling is determined to be around 88 miles per hour. So I would say that the article was pretty correct. I have seen broad and Finn bowl around that pace, Anderson relies more on seam and swing. To me, both the bowlers you mention don't LOOK quick (Jordan maybe faster than woakes)

No I think the correct catergory would me fast medium.. Fast bowler bowls 90+.. Not medium..Thats Binny/Collingwood pace.

I think the op is more obsessed with India than anything else.
One must lead a sad life.

Ive always taken 85+ to be fast
80-85 fast medium
75 - 80 medium fast
65-75 medium
60- slow
