I have in the past derided Mr Pearson and have since kept away as he has proved the doubters/ knockers like myself wrong. Well done NP.
So, I have my common sense LCFC hat on now, but want to know what has Knockhaert done this season? By that, why is he not getting a bench to sit on at the very least? Have I missed something? I know the team are playing well but has he upset someone?
Where is he?

Well he didn't do much against Everton and looked a bit out of his depth but then Albrighton can't get on the bench either so I wouldn't read too much into it.
I think it just shows our strength in depth now more than anything else.

I did hear of a rumour that he and NP had a bit of a bust up few weeks ago.

"what has Knockhaert done this season?"
--------
Quite simply, not enough. My reading of it is that he isn't doing well enough in training to get into the matchday squad. Neither is Albrighton. But interestingly, Simpson is, it seems.
Last week was of course a very similar team to the United one - probably as a reward for their performance, although I have my issues with doing things that way this season. But it'll be interesting to see what changes are made now, and whether the likes of Knockaert, Albrighton and Powell get into the squad for Burnley.
With regard to Knockaert himself, I haven't heard anything remotely concrete - just rumour, and nothing that I particularly attribute any credence. It's more likely to me that he's struggling to adapt to the league due to his inherent lack of pace and needs to learn to get the ball movin quickly most of the time before he gets back into the squad, otherwise he'll just be a liability.

Think its down to having a fairly strong set of attacking options. ..knocky, Albrighton, powell, Lawrence just 4 players who cant even make the swuad at present! But I think all 4 will have a part to play this season onces tiredness, injury and form come into play

Shame really as to be honest I liked the 'uncertainty' of what Knockaert would do next. Then again, more often than not he was a bit of a liability as you said.

I don't think he was a liability in the Championship because his play can help toward playing some very attractive and effective football. However, he does seem to be punished far more often in the Premiership when he gives the ball away, plus the players are sharper of body and mind and he may be struggling to keep up with them.
I hope he comes good because he's a great player to watch, but my instinct is that he's finding it difficult right now.

Good point. I always thought he carried a few pounds excess last season. Maybe he may get on the bench Saturday and given 15mins to strut his stuff.

Whats the outcome of this quote in the french media about us being a stepping stone? No body think its something to do with that? I dont know much about that to be honest but remember it happened around the time he stopped being picked.
