Stuart Lancaster has signed a contract extension keeping him as England manager until 2020.
Good decision by the RFU?

Agreed. Takes charge of the next two World Cups as well.

I think he's building a fantastic side, one that will still be around by 2019, I think other than NZL, we are the favourites for the World Cup next year on home soil

Can't wait for the World Cup. Looking forward to the autumn internationals next month and the 6N to see how England's side keeps progressing.

I'm just glad Scott Johnson didn't - at least not as head coach at any rate.
Remains to be seen if Cotter can do any better with the meagre resources.

I think Lancaster's reign has been not as great as it could have been. People like Goode, Barritt, Waldrum, Johnson etc have no place in the England squad let alone side. Not saying I disagree with this call btw, just still have question marks.

I really like Lancaster, really looking forward to seeing how we do in the autumn internationals. It's a shame as yet again our injury list seems to be growing, every year we seem to have terrible luck and missing key players. Just if we could get a close to fully fit squad of players I fancy us to be major contenders on home soil next year.
I think it's important we give NZ another good game but will probably end up on the losing side. I would expect us to win the rest of the autumn games to lay down a marker.

You have a very average backline.
What you have is a worldclass forward pack which is better than the NZ pack. What the All black have is a good forward pack and a worldclass backline.
Australia have a very good 9 to 15 but their forward pack is mediocre and weak. If the midget Hooper can play as a 7 what do you expect from them.
The Saffas have a similar pack as England and their back are slightly better than those of England.
