Seb Faure

Feel a little sorry for the dude. Met him at Yo Sushi, Silverburn the other day and he was nice enough to engage in some conversation even although he was there with his hot friend...

I thought he did very well last year and was one of the most consistent performers but because of shoe-horning cludger McCulloch into the team the poor lad isn't getting a sniff.

Smid, the problem here is the play-McCulloch-at-all-costs policy.

Surely if it is only for his positive effect on the team give him some sort of coaching role and bring him on off the bench if required, that way he can have an influence without actually playing... If it is loyalty to the player then this seems the logical course of action.

If I had the choice of Mcculloch or Black or Law or Peralta or Moshni ------ McCulloch would win every time. As to Zaliuska, always be in my team before Moshni, drunk or sober !!

To be fair to Ian Black and Nicky Law, with the p@sh long balls played from the back the game passes the midfield, Law especially could create more if the ball was played to his feet from the back more often rather than relying on balls laid back from the front all the time. I think Ian Black has shown more this season than the last 2. McCulloch is not the same as any of those players that you have mentioned, he is a striker who has moved back towards goal as he has lost pace, he is much better as a holding midfielder than a centre half and should only be used if we are playing 1 up front.

He's just a victim of the manager spivs view on football.

The fact is he's arguably the best centre back at the club currently, and also right back, yet the manager spiv would rather slot in dross like McCulloch, Mohsni and Zaliukas at centre half than him, whilst playing Foster and McGregor (who is one of the worst Rangers players I have ever seen, even worse than Foster) there.

McCulloch is somehow a guranteed starter, despite being absolutely woeful in his entire time at the club, one season apart, and that was in the third division, all because he's pals with McCoist, and therefore is captain.

Maybe if Faure laughed at the manager spivs jokes once in a while, then perhaps he'd have a look in.

Black should never wears Rangers Jersey , apart from his betting habits he's too laborious and slows down the play. Law is too inconsistent and hides. I'm not saying McCulloch should always play , I'm saying there are others less worthy.

Faure did OK at centre-back last season but there's no way he's some sort of stick-on for a place in the team, especially at rught-back. Looks like he might be one of those players that gets better the longer he's out of the team.

As for Barrie Mackay he started brightly for us then faded and doesn't seem to have been all that great at Morton. Hopefully he can develop, helped by the loan spells.

Overall, Ian Black has been a good player for us.

Ian Black is a disgrace ! Never should wear a Rangers jersey, too slow, dirty and bets against us !
