That is a penalty as your defender made challenge, may look soft but fact he missed the ball and if you dive in theen the attacking player may get touched and in this case Altidore footing went. At the time it was 1-1 so all that made was it to go 1-2. You had to win to have the title in your own hands. I know you peppered the goal and that was the only time Mourinho was angry as he knew the title was there to win for the first time.

If you look carefully Altidore foot he puts to go into the grass instead goes ontop of your defender hence he slides backwards. Soft pen due to left foot of Altidore sticking out.
