Pretty fair comments by Savage, even if he is a plank.

We don't have a striker in form so he says we lack firepower, fair enough.

Eriksen's out of form so we aren't creating enough chances.

Lamela's trying and looking sharp but not really creating enough (doesn't help that Ade is hanging round by the Left Wing somewhere rather than in the box)

Nothing really wrong with what he says.

Just need the team to gel, get a couple of good performances with the result too and we'll see a different team when the confidence is there.

I read it expected to laugh and rip into Savage for being a nonce. Yet he seems to get it spot on.

It`s not so much that he has passed comment, it is that he can be so sure after just 6 games of the prem season that Spurs are not going to finish top four, currently Spurs are joint 7th with United, so not actually beyond the realms of possibility is it. I notice he does not say that United, Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal may not get top four. It seems Spurs are the easy team to dig out with the media. And if he is going to spout such nonsense, he may try to get his facts right, he Says Spurs have only finished in the top four once, not true, twice in the past five seasons. Surely the half-wit can remember that far back. He is a total utter thicko, and frankly his opinion carries about as much weight as Rodgers saying that Liverpool are not going to do a Spurs.

Just heard Merson on Sky Sports say Spurs are rubbish, that despite not getting beaten at the Emirates last Saturday, another complete plank, that never engages his brain before opening his gob.

How the feccck do these ex footballers hold down jobs in the media, they can barely string two sentences together.

Savage and Merson both getting well paid to spouting utter bollox,then there's Sandy doing it for nothing.

Ah, the local village idiot. When I ran a pub a few years ago he almost started a fight by yapping away continuously during a pool match, and it seems that he hasn't stopped yapping ever since !!

I think Savage is right.
If you look at his reasoning, its hard to find anything wrong with what he is saying.
In fact, I was of the same opinion before Mr. Savage.
