I don't usually pick out individual players for criticism but Rio Ferdinand needs to ave a good game today. His first six aven't inspired me. He talks a good game in the dressing room or when he's asked about his book, but we bought im in as a player. He's been the direct cause of a few goals scored against us. An example is when he didn't jump against Crouch for Stokes first goal. Well, the reason he didn't jump is because he's got a dodgy back. It's a shame but i don't think he's up to the rigours of the Premier. Can we afford to keep faith in im if we want to stay up ? Big money, every week, similar story. Aving got that pessimism out of the way, i'm sure we'll get something out of today's game.

Tbh he had clearly declined in his last season at United, even with our defensive troubles there has been no real criticism that we should have kept hold of him.
I'd hoped he'd do well but I wasnt sure if he was still up to it, give him a younger body and you'd be flying up the table but time has caught up with him IMO.
With his lack of physical ability maybe he could only really work in a back 3 or a very deep back 4 that he can organise (maybe with a physical DM to do some of the work)
