Hart - 6 Not much to do but great one on one save.
Zab - 7 Solid as usual.
Kompany - 8 Ran the back line stopped everything.
Mangala - 7 Much better than the Hull game, but looks shaky in possession not helped by Kolorov has to be said.
Kolorov - 5 Wasteful going forward and too casual at the back.
Milner - 7 Worked his aris off as usual, final ball let him down at times.
Fernandinho - 7 Always buzzing about and breaking up play.
Birthday Boy - 5 Great goal will mask his lazy performance in the papers, but he wasnt good enough again.
Silva - 9 The man is simply class and ran the game, beautiful player.
Dzeko - 6 Two average performances in the space of a week, struggling with consistancy.
Aguero - 6 Frustrating game nothing he did came off but took his goal brilliantly.
Still not at our best but great 3 points and turned the pressure up on tommorows London derby!!

Yeah I thought Kolorov was good. Toure I thought was good too to be honest, it was agueros touch that let us down a lot.
Fernando was great when he came on too.

I wouldn't be surprised if yaya is getting some stick but,although he's clearly not himself,he was ok today
Would rather see us playing with Fernando and fernandinho to shield the defense so yaya can sit in front of them though

while yaya hasn't come close to the heights he hit last year, I thinks you have to be careful. he is one of those players who is better than he looks. if you know what I mean. a good counter example for me would be Raphael for the rags who is worse than he looks.

I agree with the Yaya comments, i have found myself defending him myself lately. Hw cheesed everyone off during the summer with his shenanigans but some people seem to just berate him for the sake of it now. I thought he had a decent game both ends of the park and not simply because of his goal. I think his passing was no worse than others and better than some. I agree with Melton that his link up play with Silva and others is key to us building effective attacks, it was only the finishing and some determined defending by Villa that frustrated us until late in the game. He does a lot more than he is given credit for and it has become fashionable to call him lazy and incredibly some even call for him to be sold in the next window. If we sold every player that had a poor spell we would be very short of players.
