I think we played with a handbrake but overall we looked more confident and unlucky to have lost like that. I think the best we could have got is a draw but we lost to the best side right now in the league but I dont see what is the hype with Chelsea they will get found out sooner rather than latter.
We switched off for the second goal and it shows we still lack 'big game' experience especially our midfield. It is absolutely vital we get Khedira in January or equivalent DM because we lack height and presence in the middle. I still think Szsney was also culpable for not saving that second goal, he seems timid when faced with clutch situations I would rather we play Ospina asap.
Wenger as usual got his subs wrong again, the man is a joy and a calamity put together, he makes brave decisions with young players but also is too stubborn to rectify it when it goes wrong, our season starts now.
Lets not overeact!

Before the peno, I think Wenger had his tactics right.
We struggled a bit in midfield but were going forward quickly.
Chambers kept Hazard quiet til his yellow.
I still think the game could have gone the other way had Atkinson red carded Cahill.

To be honest in the end this felt like one of our normal performances against one of the top teams. Obviously much better than the horrific capitulations of last season, but still ultimately coming up short as we pretty much always do.

I never asked a favor from the referee, I just want the right decision. Cahill commit the foul because he needs to. Alexis made a good start in this game.
Players have the responsability to carry out the plan. Özil didn't play very well. Jack lost the ball where Chambers made that tackle.
A lively Alexis was a good sign, Chambers harrying Hazard another one.
