Ive seen that overpaid centre back in Morrisons,i wish he would be in there at 3pm every Saturday and do us all a favour.

Do they charge as much for him as the brewers pay?

Years ago I spotted Eric Graves in Waterstones in Birmingham. He was absolutely staggered that anyone recognised him.

Talking about that slow moving centre half, at Southend I think virtually every player wandered down to thank the 100 or so for making the long trip to support them. That certain centre half didn't bother.

At the end of last season he was also the only player not to put in an appearance after the Accrington game.

I think Moore stands alongside Branston and Jackson as signings to learn from. There again it doesn't matter which level of the game you manage at, even the likes of Ferguson, Wenger and Mourinho have all made signings they'd rather forget about.

I've never been a great fan of Pesch, but hats off to him for getting in the likes of Bolder, Zola, Richards, Taylor and, on loan, Winnall and Collins. All players I've enjoyed watching in a Brewers shirt.

In that list of 3 Wednesbury Brewer you have Mr Branston,who i agree should be in that list.My good friend Pez always rated him and we had many disagreements about the man and his abillity.He moved on and did very well at Torquay and got man of the match awards.But at the end of the day he wasnt retained and was moved on,so who was right the majority or the minority.In my mind its how quickly a player can settle and endear themselves to the fans and im afraid he didnt do that at Burton did he ??
