Bale has bulked up a fair bit and lost a little bit of pace. In spain he can afford to be a step slower cause hes still 2 steps faster than anyone hes up against, but needed to bulk up a bit for the slower tussles.

Yeah, because the Spanish league is well know for its strong play and lack of diving/play acting

Just think,Spurs were offering him around for £5m when he played a RB,Martin Jol was going to buy him at Hamburg.

Like Ronaldo, he is a complete athlete and will just get better.
