They've just blown this group wide open
This is going to get interesting before it ends.
Late November scotland Ireland in Hamden just got very serious.
Best of luck lads it's going to be tasty

Scotland should've took at least a point off Germany, maybe their moment in the sun is up

It certainly has, but its about us taking care of our own business, very impressed with our performance today although should have had more goals, totally dominated the game looked very good in possession but lacked killer instinct at times, but would be pretty confident of going to Poland and possibly even getting a win, the worry for me is the ability to be able to do what Poland did tonight have very few shots on target and score twice as I think we can now be confident of controlling a decent amount of possession over there which I would not have been confident about this time last year, we have become very comfortable on the ball from defence up to attack but still lack a cutting edge, if we had that today we could have won by 4 or 5, it was quite comfortable although while its still just 1-0 you are still nervous, but if we had got a second today I think we would have been on easy street, well done to Poland but going by possession and shots on/off target during the match they obviously had one of those games, a bit lucky, probably but its about putting the ball in the net at the end of the day, hopefully on Tuesday we will have more shots on goal than they themselves did today and come away with a win as I am sure with the way we are currently playing we are capable of that

I actually think its a terrible result for Scotland and Ireland. Germany will still walk the group, they should have beaten Poland 2-6 tonight. Poland have got 3 points that they weren't expecting to get which makes Ireland and Scotland's task that much harder.

Yes that's true although don't forget they won at home and its not that impressive really that you play at home and give away 29 shots at goal and you have 5, it makes you wonder how many shots on target Germany will muster when they play Poland at home especially when they will look for revenge next time, I don't think they will be so lucky on their home turf, even if they only have the shots on goal then as they had tonight, our result was against Germany in their own back yard, so there is a big difference, although it does put pressure on both ourselves and ROI to win at home or at least draw against Germany, but you can only take one game at a time and if we can beat Poland home and away and win or draw with Germany we will be in a better position, the incentive for Poland is with them at the moment though as if they beat us on Tuesday they will be in pole position depending on ROI result.

I also think ROI will take points off Poland home and away and we are capable of taking points off both Poland and ROI so there is still a long way to go in this group as they both have to play in Germany.

Plus they'll be fairly pi$$ed Tuesday night....good look with that David Forde.
A draw would be an amazing result for us.

Yes 2nd place is all that's up for grabs and we are quite capable of getting it, although it won't be easy, there is also a play-off escape route if in third place depending on points comparing with other groups, so that's not strictly true.

I'm hoping that we can take 6 pts from our first three games. We've beaten Gibraltar and expected us to get beat last night. Win against Scotland at home as they're a rival in this group but the win yesterday is a massive bonus for us. I just hope we can build on it with another victory on Tuesday.

Great game tonight we played very well again, great move for the equaliser and good finish by Naismith for the 2nd after misses on Saturdays game, can't really complain a draw was a fair result, only disappointment being Hutton's mistake for their 1st goal, but I think that sometimes Hutton let's himself down at times due to the very positive nature of his game, always trying to get forward at every opportunity, trying to play the ball out of defence instead of lumping it upfield which has improved Scotland's game in general playing this passing from the back style, maybe he just needs to get the balance right occasionally, but overall as opposed to Saturday when we had plenty chances and failed to score today we had two chances and took them both and our general play was very positive again, all in all I think a draw was a fair result in the end, can't really complain although at 2-1 I felt we could with our improved play and pace up front catch Poland again on the counter make it 3-1 and finish the game with win controlling the game in the last 15mins or so hoping to finish them off, but I have to say Poland impressed me with the way they came back into the match and could have clinched it in the end hitting the post instead, they are certainly not a one trick pony and have a very decent players and both their goals were superbly taken.
All in all a very decent result in the end, probably a point gained if we can take care of our home matched, Ireland next.
