Out of interest, Would anyone actually care if international football was just scrapped or qualifying for tournaments scrapped?
Or every 4 years just have one super world cup where it's just like 160 countries in a knock-out tournament style or something like that?
Maybe it's just me, but international football just bores me nowadays, and i honestly don't see the point in all these qualifying stages and groups etc, it's just the same routine, few big teams, few crap teams, big teams 9 times out of 10 obviously smash the crap teams, then they're qualified. Yawn
Too many breaks for international friendlies also.
Just gets to a point where every two years we just waste time playing pointless qualifying games.

I'm kind of bored with it but only because England are in such a p!ss easy group. There's nothing that makes me think it's not going to be a doddle to qualify, and it shouldn't be like that.
