Away fans pub

Hi Toon army.

Long while since I've been to St James Park, we lost 1-0 to a Lorent Robert goal on my only visit.

Is there an 'away fans pub' near the stadium for a pre match drink?

www.thetownwall.com is just up from the station and is a really good pub(decent food too) albeit fairly fancy. Away fans often drink in Shearers bar at the stadium without any issues at all.

Bit late now unless you're still in Newcastle and online, but the Strawberry just across from the Gallowgate end is very away-fan friendly.
