a MANAGER!!
i mean no disrespect to keen, he has tried and it has not worked out, he has assembled a good young solid team with the potential to fight for a top half finnish, all we need now is a reputable manager to come take over, find our best 11 and lets crack on, keen deserves a role within our club, maybe assistant manager, but im under no illusion now we need a replacement
on a side note im thrilled with the players keen has brought in vukcevic is a quality player
we got the squad all we need now is....

Super Keith, the point is there though. Samba was a fantastic buy and apparently he wasn't being scouted, there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Getting rid of pros like Diouf and Emo is all well and good if you can 'guarantee' adequate replacements, as yet we don't seem to have them.
GoodWillie may be an example, great for an unfashionable Scottish club, I hope he gets time and is a top striker. As said previously, who's the last scot to make it big in the pl?

Colin Hendry, Darren Fletcher, Big Duncan Ferguson and Stephen Fletcher come to mind. Don't know of any other scottish players in the league at the minute.

Hendry wasn't great when he first came down, Fletcher was schooled at United and is average at best, Stephen Fletcher has he made it, Big Dunc I'll give you due to him knocking out burgalars (sp)...
Hardly a great return though to be fair, the Welshies have more...

Fletcher, as much as it pains me to say it, is a good Premiership forward and he did well for both Burnley and Wolves.

Goals to games?

No idea but he scored a fair few important goals for both teams and has started this season strongly.
