And I'll say it again - what does Lambert have against Sanchez and Okore?
Can't stand our manager.
Relegation battle again this season.
Rubbish again

Gabby looks a little heavy.

he needs an over haul, fair enough Lambert had a very small budget to work with over the summer and understandably brought in some free experienced players, however Richardson, Westwood should be on the bench as should Baker.
I would even start joe Cole in the No.10 slot as he was promised when signed, give him a go behind Benteke
Guzan
A.Hutton R.Vlaar Senderos Cissokho
Cleverley Sanchez
N'Zogbia Cole Weimann/Gabby
Benteke
Is a decent team with Okore, Grealish in the wings, am not gonna slate lambert, I like him, but he needs to bite the bullet and drop some of his favourites

People have kept quiet as the first few points were a bonus.
Creatively we are awful and the goals and goal difference is relegation stuff for sure.
Can you really see us hammering QPR????? We will get nothing there
We are not capable of hammering anyone.
There will be a few ground out scrappy results some heavy whoopings and total negativity for the rest of the season.
I will be very surprised if Delph and Vlaar still here come transfer window, and think that Okore and Cole need a go, cole is at least creative.
More chance of seeing eeyore and Cheryl Cole in reality.
May sound over gloomy, but I really do think we are in for a tough season.

Lambert says he's being cautious with Okore because of the seriousness of his knee injury. Fair enough.
I think we will beat QPR. We won't do it by assuming it'll be a walk-over; it won't. We need to stop them having chances, which means strong in defence, solid in midfield and relying on counter-attack, not pretty but we need the points. Goal-scoring is the obvious problem for us, but I think we've got enough there to do it; QPR are not a top five team.

It's fine if you want to accept blindly what Lambert does, but the fact is he is unpopular and if he doesn't start doing things differently he will be even more unpopular. Saying fair enough when Lambert says that Okore won't be rushed because of the seriousness of his injury, but then not questioning the fact that: 1) Benteke was rushed back; 2) The other centre back options are terrible (including Senderos); and 3) He has been on the bench for us and selected for Denmark.
I agree that Westwood needs dropping, he seems to have this reputation for being a Michael Carrick player for us but the fact is he is always poor when up against half decent midfielders. Cleverley has failed to prove the critics wrong so far too and God knows how he has so many England caps when he can't enhance a poor Villa midfield I don't know. We were crying out for a player like Sessegnon, Sigurddsson or Holtby, and we get Tom Cleverley. Just shows what we're about these days.
I really wouldn't be so confident of beating QPR. They may be bottom but on paper they are actually no worse than us and will probably have more a lot more possession against Lambert's long ball game. I hope I am proven wrong for the sake of the club, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a defeat there and then a defeat to Spurs, which would leave Lambert with a big group of fans who want him out. I imagine many are already in that group, me included. It's all well saying we lost against the top five, but realistically Everton and Liverpool quite likely won't finish there this season, and the manner in which we lost the games was the most concerning and shows nothing has changed in Lambert's time here. We played exactly as McLeish's teams would. I really wish we could go back to Houllier's era to be honest, at least we tried to play football and bought good players.
I can bet PL will be arrogant and stubborn yet again against QPR, but he needs to change the team. The 11 should be:
Guzan
Hutton Vlaar Okore Cissokho
Sanchez Cleverley
N'Zogbia Cole Grealish
Benteke
Benteke is not fully fit but is still needed, can understand him playing him, but Okore needs to play too in that case. He's a young player who is ambitious and wants to play and has good qualities - stop ruining his career. Same with Sanchez too. Grealish may be 19 but is more creative than Gabby and Weimannand Joe Cole is too, even if he is old now. We may as well change things around and try to play football on the ground, it is more likely to yield results than what we are doing now. We can't keep having none of the ball and expecting to make chances and win games, it just isn't going to happen.

It wasn't an accident that we looked pretty solid in our opening four matches. Those points weren't lucky. In fairness none of Stoke, Newcastle or Hull are top teams, but they should be decent mid-table (always allowing for Newcastle's ability to shoot themselves in the foot). Those are the teams we need to get points against to have a decent season, and we got them.
Okore instead of Senderos? No way. Senderos has huge experience, and it shows. QPR will try to bully their way through, and Vlaar/Senderos is the best combination to stop them.
Grealish has a great future, hopefully. But I think he needs more time as an impact sub; when he does start having an impact, which he hasn't so far, that's the time to consider starting him.
I think Westwood is good. Stick Westwood and Sanchez in the middle of the park and I think you have a good solid combination, which leaves the remaining 4 players with options on the attack.
I'm not sure about N'zogbia for this one. He's still short of stamina. Gabby will play. He won't score, but will make things difficult for QPR. Benteke is a must. Think I'd stick N'zogbia on the bench and play Weimann and Cleverley.
