...but I am just wondering. What do you think it will take for Arsene to lose his job?
The argument that we have been hindered by financial constraints is now gone. We spend over £80M in the transfer window and somehow we seem weaker than last season.
As an Arsenal fan I have become bored and disillusioned with the team, so much so that I really don't care when we lose anymore or put in terrible performances like the one vs Hull.
Surely I am not the only one that feels like this and I truly believe if things do not change very soon, attendances at the Emirates will drop and/or the crowd could turn on Arsene.
It's sad that it might come to that because of what he's done for us but it has been clear to me for a few years now that he has far overstayed his welcome and I have noticed recently a lot more people are starting to see the light and realise he might be part of what is becoming a big problem at Arsenal.
We will finish top 4 again and that will probably be it, can't see us winning the FA Cup again and the 1st half decent team we meet in Europe will knock us out of the CL. Will the fans accept that? I don't think so. But it's the boards choice at the end of the day, well it isn't really. It is Wenger's choice. So what do you think needs to happen for him to leave and get us out of this repetitive loop of mediocrity?
We've had this convo 100 times before...

In that when we FINALLY get going, we will be one of the strongest teams in Europe. Even better than the first half of last season where we were one of the best teams in the country. We have so much potential, its so fustrating its not yet been released

I thought you Arsenal fans were past those years of blind hope. Most of you in this article have posted realistic comments, but it looks like you're years behind

Why write stuff without reasoning or logic? It makes you come across as a bit stupid.
Are you unable to fathom that this squad is the best we have had for a very long time, despite any deffciencies we still have? Are you then not able to fathom that, if a weaker version of this team were the best in the country for large periods of last season, then there is reason to think they will be better with additions like Sanchez?

Conveniently forgetting that Chelsea, City, United etc are all twice the teams they were last season too...

Yes I am unable to fathom that, because this incredible squad has only won 3 games out of 11 this season

Ivan Gazidis: "The biggest challenge we're going to face as a club is that transition from Arsene to the next manager. We have a giant who's managing us. Arsene has put the club in a great, great position."
Sir Chips Keswick: “If Arsene has a plan we back it, if he doesn’t have a plan we keep quiet."
Kroenke has just pocketed £3m for 'advisory' services - possibly the first payment of many for all we know - and the 'trail- blazing' Arsenal Fanshare scheme is already being wound down, meaning the board and owner will face less direct feedback than ever by Arsenal fans.
So, getting back to the OP, what will it take for Arsene to lose his job?
Simple.
Usmanov to buy out Kroenke and clear out the boardroom, replacing the dust gatherers and the inept with some football men and women.
But as we all know, during the next couple of years we're much more likely to see talk shifting to Wenger extending his current contract than any other scenario unfolding.
Buckle your seats boys, we're no doubt in for a boringly predictable ride...

The only way to shift Wenger is to promote him. And bring in Pep as the new manager at the end of next season.

If we don't challenge for the title or win big games then I would question things, at the same time one bad season doesn't mean he can't come back again. SAF went trophyless for a while and everyone thought he was past it before he won 3 titles in a row, but at the least we need beat some top teams and be more fluid in attack to show that Wenger can build another great team.
There's only 8 games gone though, teams start amazingly/poorly every season but it's not usually how things pan out so I'm not yet inside this doom and gloom bubble that our fans love to live in. We can easily go on a run of consecutive wins, we have a team with a lot of new players and had a mixed start to the season, doesn't mean we will have a poor season.

Have you heard of a thing called form? Or do you genuinely believe what you are seeing from Arsenal at the moment is the best they can do.
Come on, stop acting up

I can't believe there are people here who think we might actually achieve something this season
Why do this to yourselves when we've all seen how it ends.
