Why cant people like both Messi/Ronaldo

Every article about one of these two turn into Messi vs Ronaldo.

I mean its qetting quite boring now. Neither party can admit both players are truly great. We all have our favourites but that doesnt make us fanboys. Just we prefer 1 particular player.

I suggest people like both because in 10 years time we could be wishing we had even just 1 player like them.

I can't be bothered Sheriff. Messi's only downside is his attitude, and it's clear to see when he's frustrated in games because he doesn't shoot or run at people, he takes the easy pass sideways and sulks around.

It's clear you just really hate Ronaldo, because all your first lines are a dig at him when I'm talking about Messi here

All I'm saying is that in the tough games, Messi doesn't raise his level and try harder when a couple things don't go for him. He hides. Go back to any of the live text pages for the games Barca get knocked out of the CL and the same thing will be said in there

This is my last post because you aren't understanding what I'm saying.

Both players struggle at times in big games. It's natural.

Ronaldo's demeanor in these games is a frustrated one. He's constantly looking for space, unleashing shots whenever he can, desperately trying to make something happen. You can't say he hides, although he looks desperate and petulant. He might even kick an opponent because he's so clearly upset.

Messi's is that he drifts into the background and almost looks bored. Watch his games against Chelsea, Atletico, or Bayern. He looks like he doesn't even want the ball and when he gets it, he casually passes it away sideways when he clearly has the ability to take people on and make things happen himself. Wasn't there a game where he covered the least distance of anybody on the field barring one of the keepers? (meaning the other covered more than him)

It's quite clear Messi is the more talented of the two, but it he had Ronaldo's drive, attitude, and hunger to score, he's be head and shoulders the best player of all time.

By "makng things happen" all you mean is blazing shots all over the place. That has never and will never be Messi's game. Messi, other than missing a pen, actually played really well against Chelsea and Barca were just unlucky and squandered tons of great chances. He was unfit after a long-term injury in the disaster against Bayern - he wasn't even supposed to play. The Atletico game was probably the biggest disappointment, but it was NO WORSE than Ronaldo against the same Atletico in the finals. Those are just myths that have been sensationally built up because Messi has seen a decline in form over the past season-and-half.

And yes, I will admit there's a certain hunger and single-minded drive that Ronaldo seems to have AT THE MOMENT, which Messi seems to be a bit short off. I think with the departure of Guardiola, his fitness levels have dropped and he doesn't look as explosive as he did.

Cant stand Ronaldo A great player but Messi is easily the best. All round he has Ronaldos number.
