C.Ronaldo deserves respect

people donโ€™t give enough credit to cristiano ronaldo even though he has won FIFA Ballon d'Or twice and may win it again this year for a third time, being on level with the likes of ronaldo, zidane and 1 behind messi. As a man utd fan, do I consider c.ronaldo as the G.O.A.T..no i don't but so isn't messi. even though messi and ronaldo have won every trophie there is at la liga for messi and la liga/premiership for ronaldo, none of them have achieved anything for their countries, with both players coming close getting to the final.

These people who think ronaldo is not as good messi are deluded and one reason why there say this because cristiano ronaldo played for man utd not almost arsenal or liverpool

The G.O.A.T has to be a player who has won at club and international level and only one name there is MARADONA won it with argentina and napoli

Yes of course its if you don't play regularly in a league its a lot more difficult to compare him to Ronaldo who played in the Premier League for so long. Ronaldo never scored at Anfield, he's never scored agaisnt Benifica, he only scored 3 in 12 games agaisnt Blackburn. They are all pretty arbitrary stats what is clear is that they have both scored a ridiculous number of goals agaisnt a ridiculous number of teams

if that's the case why is ronaldo so close to breaking madrid all time goal scoring record soon when he's been there for 5/6 years whereas messi been at barca for 10 season. i

Also, Messi has grown up in Barcelona.

Ronaldo has had to adjust to a couple of different teams and leagues, which has only made him better.

There are numerous reasons. The first is that Messi developed during his time at Barca for the the first five years I'm sure his scoring rate would be comparable to Ronaldo's at Sporting and United's. Secondly Messi started off as a pure winger in a team with pure goalscorers and a team built around other players. That all changed when Pep moved him into the centre and built the team round him. Same with Ronaldo fergie and then madrid managers started building team around him so he started scoring more

UTD supporters obsession with Ronny is pathetice, if he love utd that much he would still be there!

His only concern is Madrid, he may well respect utd but his live us with Madrid.

You lot behave like jilted lovers, always stalking him, acting kind he represents utd in some weird way.

Let me serve you with z reality check, he plays for Madrid in thd CL tonight. A competion you couldn't qualify for. As last year you were humiliated home and away, the odds on him coming back to rescue utd from mid table, is nothing but desperate, just sit back and enjoy 2 European heavyweights, in the knowledge that your club has failed you.

Thank you and goodnight!

Since Ronaldo has moved to Madrid a time when Messi had just started playing centrally Messi has outscored and got more asissts than Cr7 not by much but still

Why does Messi have the same number of goals in the champions league as Ronaldo, probably more assisted yet Ronaldo has played 20 more games than him and started playing in the champions league 2 years before Messi?

All arbitrary points

I seriously have never understood at how winning something at International level justifies supreme status.

At the end of the day, Messi would have had the opportunity to play for Spain. If he had done, he would have won a WC and 2 Euros. Would that have made him the G.O.A.T?

Why not judge a player on his actual ability rather than what his teams won? You'd think that would be a no brainer
