Defensive Coach

I think its past time that Rodgers gets a defensive coach to work with the liverpool squad.Carragher would be ideal even in a part time capacity.However defensive work should work from the strikers as well and in Balotelli you are never going to get that.Yet to see these so called flashes of brilliance.Give him until summer otherwise bye bye mario.Get in Valdes on a free to push mignolet also would buy Carlos Bacca in january to play up front with Sturridge,think he would be a great addition and sell Borini if Sunderland still want him.Then origi back to us in the summer.Gonna take time for the team to gel,lets get the basics right like defending.

Rodgers doesn't like Carra. He wants to be the main man and doesn't want a repeat of the Dalglish chants when Roy was there if it all goes wrong for him.

The club didn't make any effort to keep him (his words). Why is that? Only one man makes the decisions on his coaching staff.

Ballotelli always going to be a gamble regards scoring and workrate.The defensive players liverpool brought in surely cant be that bad.If rodgers wants to evolve as a manager/coach he has to stop burying his head in the sand,swallow his pride and put liverpool football team first.Stop letting easy goals in and drop Balotelli for a player who wants to play for a great club on a champions league night ffs

Well said Red. Lovren is still finding his way with LFC. Tonight, I would have played Manquillo instead of Johnson. He is faster, more disciplined, a better, younger defender.
