Everton fans are dispersed with tear gas and rubber bullets!
Reports coming in from Echo reporter dont focus on what started this reaction from the police, but a fan was shot in the head with a rubber bullet.

Lets be straight here, at this moment reports are that French police started this, there was no reaction to last nights unprevoked attacks.
However I feel this could turn in the next few hours as fans react, I hope they dont.

Yeah that's the fear. From what I understand there will be 1000s of Evertonians there today, with many in the home stands (my best mate is over there and is in the home end also). Just hope there's no reprisals and everyone gets home safely

the running report in the echo online shows that away fans have moved back in to the square and it looks to have gone back to pre rio police fun.

I'm hoping the fact the British media are all over this now will put the sh-ts up the French police and they'll think twice before wading in on innocent Brits again today.
Hoping for a trouble-free day and 3 points for the Toffees

What you on about Forza? You don't live in Europe. Over here we all realise the superior English would rule us if we didn't keep them down.
Go Michel, go!

Just seen on Facebook that French riot plod overreacted again today firing tear gas at Everton supporters in the main square, seemingly without provocation. It's almost as if they want the English to kick off....

Should've dressed up as Germans. The French would have surrendered there and then.

I wonder what the reaction would be in France had that been Liverpudlian police wading in on French fans?
