Who would you say has failed to live up to their usual standards this season in the Premier League?
In comparison to last season, Yaya Toure has been a massive disappointment. Looks half the player and disinterested if you ask me.
Juan Mata has struggled to build on some of his promising performances of last season and has looked a passenger in most Utd games rather than the creative spark we all expected him to be.
Think you can make a case for most of the Liverpool side bar Sterling. There is a strong argument that Suarez elevated the quality of the team however.
Who would you say has been the most high profile underachieving player this season so far?
My no.1 has got to be Yaya Toure.
Biggest Underperformers.

There's quite a lot of players from the top 7 clubs that aren't performing anything like their best.
World Cup may have had an impact on that.

You could argue that some players 'save' themselves pre World Cup but there were a lot of players who were excellent throughout last season and have been poor ever since.
Toure is the one who stands out most for me. The West Ham midfield made him look very average yesterday.

Ramsey... Very good shout!
From what I've seen of Coutinho, he hasn't been too bad but I'm sure you're much more qualified to pass an opinion on him than what I am!

This, basically. Though it has seemed from day one at United that Mata just doesn't suit them.

Coutinho

I'd disagree with that. He's always been inconsistent and last year, we were told by rival fans that he's overrated.
Now you're telling us he's disappointing by his own standards.
Ironically enough, he's been playing rather well this season.

I think Coutinho has been poor this season although he has picked up in the past couple of games.
