What really happened yesterday?
Louis van Gaal gave Fellaini an audition for captaincy and he passed with flying colours.
LVG said he knew that Chelsea would score from a set piece as we were beaten for height and it was only going to be a matter of time - hence his fury at us giving away six corners in half an hour alone.
Fellaini saved us on several occasions.
The snuffing out of Fabregas by Fellaini was huge. When they had the ball Fellaini was on the little man and when we were away he freed himself from Matic.
The goal was thanks to Fellaini's bullet header. Stepping back and generating power, hard to do. Frank Stapleton would have been proud.
Spreading our players across the length and width of the park was brave managing by van Gaal and I am happy.
But I'm even happier with Fellaini.
Are you with me?

Scarred by Moyes maybe?
Without Fellaini we would have lost four nil.
He'll be asked to do a job on Silva next.

Definitely scarred. And scared,
Moyes drained my confidence quicker than a battered, no good for anything wife's confidence is drained.
(No wives were battered in order to write this comments)
