KEY ACTION |
A wide free kick is delivered and Tremmel comes to claim the ball but totally misses it, and Lovren is there at the back post, unmarked, to head into the net.
90 +2: SWANSEA SENDING OFF - Fernandez
Coutinho slightly over runs the ball and Fernandez goes into a challenge which is deemed dangerous by the referee, who has no hesitation in sending him off.
90: LIVERPOOL BOOKING - Toure
Taylor gets to the ball first and is brought down by Toure who gets a caution for denying the visitors the chance of a counter attack.
86: LIVERPOOL 1-1 SWANSEA - Balotelli
Borini delivers a teasing cross from the right hand side and it's met by substitute Balotelli who connects with the ball and finds the bottom corner.
82: SWANSEA BOOKING - Williams
Borini is brought down again by a Swansea player, this time it's Williams who goes into the referee's book.
65: LIVERPOOL 0-1 SWANSEA - Emnes
An attempted through ball by Taylor gets deflected up into the air and as it drops, Emnes hits it first time on the volley with his left foot, over his shoulder and into the far corner.
63: SWANSEA BOOKING - Taylor
Manquillo passes to Borini who is fouled from behind by Taylor who receives a yellow card.
51: SWANSEA BOOKING - Fulton
Lambert has the ball at his feet and moves it on just before Fulton can get there, and the Swansea player brings him down in the centre circle with a strong, unfair challenge.

PREVIEW |
On that night two years ago, holders Liverpool were soundly beaten 3-1 by manager Rodgers's former club Swansea, who would later go on to win the competition for the first time in their history.
Last year's Premier League meeting on Merseyside wasn't a bad one either. Liverpool raced into a 2-0 lead, the Swans evened the scores before Sturridge headed the hosts back in front before the break.
Bony's penalty got the visitors level again but Jordan Henderson tapped in to win a thrilling game. A repeat tonight of either result mentioned above could happen, such is the unpredictability of the home side this year.
Swansea will fancy their chances of progressing to the next round whilst Liverpool could use the game as an opportunity to field some of the players who haven't featured as much this year.
A win is much needed for Liverpool, whose next three games are Newcastle, Real Madrid and Chelsea before the next International break.
