I thought he had a good game against a very good Swansea side. He's also very vocal. We need a leader similar to Carra and to me Kolo is the only one that can provide the leadership we need at the back.
Whats everyone's opinion?
Is it time to give Kolo a chance in the PL?

I am really of the opinon now that our deficiencies at the back are less to d with the personnel and more with the system and coaching.
In Rodgers time in charge we have continued to concede a shocking amount of goals no matter the CB pairing or make up of the back 5.
It seems to have gotten to the point that no one really seems to feel comfortable in their roles, hence we see CBs going for the same ball with full backs trying to cover all the space left behind. Add to that a dodgy keeper and we are all at sea.
I think we need to pick a back four and stick to it as best possible.

I think Kolo is great for the role he has, sporadic games and great leadership and experience off the pitch.
Long term we need a settled partnership between Lovren and A N Other. Whether Sakho or Skrtel will be that other remains to be seen.

He had an average game against Swansea's second string attack

Whatever Rodgers does he needs to do it quick. I read somewhere that Liverpool so far this season have conceeded a goal (or more) in 86% of all games this season (both domestic and Europe). That's a ridiclous stat.

It's not really that ridiculous in October.

Over Rodgers tenure as manager we are averaging about 1.2 goals per game conceded. Shocking.

I've always liked Kolo as well. He is a very solid defender, and arguably him and Agger as at the start of last season was our best centre back pairing under Rodgers. He got injured and Skrtel who found form and suddenly he was out the team, I felt he could feel hard done by.
He is done very well for us when we have needed him. Too much is made about the WBA pass, Fulham own goal
.They were two bad mistakes but apart from that he has done very little wrong, Skrtel has many more moments of madness that I don't see him being lambasted for months afterwards?
I'd like to see him get some gametime in the premier league or champions league, I think we will improve defensively with him there. Toure/Lovren is worth a try.

If we were to play a back 3 then yes quite possible.
Otherwise back up only to Skrtel.
