He has had enough time and has proven, along with Jones and especially Evans, not quite good to be a United CB along the lines of Rio Vidic, Stam, Pally and Dolly, McGrath Moran etc etc.

This is the quality at the back we need to get United where we all think they should be. Look what City have compared to us.

So, you're not the same person then, or has he been gone since you started taking the tablets?

Aye, every United player who makes a mistake or behaves immaturely once should be bombed out of the club immediately IMO........

Well that's kinda what I mean, you can't drop or sell players after one moment of stupidity, you can't build a team like that.

t's not just this incident that grates, it's the fact that one of Jones, Smalling and Evans looks to be virtually nailed on to make a costly mistake almost every week.

You can't single out Smalling because the other two haven't been any better this season. This is why I feel for LVG at the moment - we are playing ok and improving all the time but costly (and basic) individual errors are the main reason we are where we are in the table and there isn't much the manager can do about that.

Our CBs are heading towards the last chance saloon if they aren't already on borrowed time...
