So...what actually is our best team?

Lloris
Walker Dier Vertonghen Rose
Capoue Mason
Lamela Kane Eriksen
Soldado

???????????

-Walker is injured and who knows when he'll be back
-Kaboul has logs it but won't be dropped as he's captain
-Fazio hasn't looked good when he's played
-Capoue does a job, Mason has been impressive. Hardly Matic and Fabregas though, we're miles off
-Lamela and Eriksen are on paper our best players, but we seriously lack width and pace
-Chadli has scored a few but he doesn't really do that much?
-Kane best as number 10 so ade or soldado have to play...

I really just have no idea as to what our best team is...

he hasn't adapted to a narrow role in a system which we've played to for some 3 seasons now, he is useless and you want to bring him back in at the expense of all the work that has gone into playing the system we play

Two seasons . Some of the most boring football I have witnessed to be honest.

But all hail the system

Tbf, Lennon was at his best when we had a midfield of Huddlestone/Palacious. He just thrives off of a good passer.

Should never have sold Hudd. Capoue is a pale imitation.

You are a big Hudd fan, I'm still not sure.

More so than usual. I'm actually quite a light hearted geezer. Politics and football though....

Is there a team in the PL that still plays 442 regularly?

I notice even West Ham have inverted wingers these days.

HRH,

Let's agree to disagree on this one. I wouldn't start changing the system to suit a player of Lennon's calibre, and i'm sure most on JA would agree

Ever since Harry left i thought he should be used as an impact sub, why? Because he is too wasteful and not clinical enough to warrant a place, but almost perfect as an impact sub, but it appears i am wrong on the latter seeing as he isn't even making the bench
