Southampton have a 100% record so far, so do we go defensive or attacking?

My team would be
Schmeical
Pantsil, Mills, Bamba, Konchesky
Wellens
Fernandes Danns
King
Nugent Schlupp
However, if Maynard came in, i would replace schlupp with him.
We have to be tight, compact and difficult to beat against southampton as they can score goals for fun.

Strettea, we played at the City Ground, not Old Trafford on Saturday.

I would, and I think Sven will, play the same team as last weekend. Barring injury or a new player, I think the only change would possibly be Peltier and Pantsil, although I think both played pretty well in the past week. Our best two performances have involved pretty much the same 11, so I think the manager will stick with this.
With Danns, King, Wellens and Fernandes on the pitch, don't see the need for any midfielder on the bench, so I would select :
Weale
Gallagher
Dyer
Schlupp
St Ledger
With regards to tactics? Just play exactly the same as the first 45 last week - harrying the opposition, quick 1 and 2 touch football, and constant challenges for the second ball. The rest will look after itself.

Same team as Forest for me. I know a lot of people want to see Schlupp in for Vassell, but I think that'd be a mistake at this stage. So'ton are a very good side and we need a win - not the best time to blood a very green youngster. Besides, despite not being a fan of his I actually thought Darius played pretty well against Forest - he hasn't done anything to warrant being dropped.
The key is to keep the same diamond formation though - it worked so much better and we carried so much more of a threat going forwards. No more 4-5-1 please Svennis!

I would be tempted to play either Gallagher or Dyer from the start to play width, but in the end I'd agree with Keep_the_faith1's team and bench.

There a major concerns about the contribution from Gallagher and Dyer, I am also concerned that King, who is great when we are on top, can become anonymous if the game gets tight. This is a game that we cannot afford to be playing with other than 11 commited men

Defensive? When at home? Are you serious?!!!
Go for the win everytime.
