According to the Daily Mail, (I know its only gossip), but we are about to secure a loan deal for the young Fulham striker. If this speculation is true, i'm quite glad Houston is going for a young striker who can score goals because it is definitely what we need. According to his wikipedia page, he has continually been likened to a young Fernando Torres. Hopefully, if he does come, he shows the hunger that other young players show. We badly need a striker before the window closes, as we've only got Daly and Russell and last year we had major injury problems around this time. If we get those injury problems again, we wont be able to cope with just two strikers. I'm just hoping the bank allows us to have enough money to get someone on loan.

Lets hope it's the Fernando Torres of Atletico & Liverpool he's been "likened" to and not the one that plays for Chelsea. Jon Daly runs that latter close (even on Saturday....)

I don't get the chance to say this very often,. but I can confirm this, definitely not just a rumour. Mate of mine down here (also an Arab) works for Fulham and told me about this deal yesterday, subject to paperwork.
