Why is this guy so lazy? He looks knackered when he comes onto the pitch.
In front of goal, with time he is lethal, but beside that he offers nothing, get rid....

Don't know why Wenger put him at CF. Should have taken Santi off and kept Welbz on tbf.
Why Theo was not brought on instead of Rosicky, I will never know.

Can the haters just stop moaning for a bit?
Some players who had crap performance game after game, 90 minutes after 90 minutes and you don't complain, but point the finger to a player who is not in form and only getting 10 minutes here and there?
Yes, Poldi only has one trick, but that is one of the best in the world, and we don't use it properly.

Moaning about a player who played like 5 mins. What about the rest of the clowns on show tonight?

Maybe OP is referring to the laziness of not closing down the Anderlecht player who put in the pinpoint cross.
Surely basic rule of defending/tackling is getting close to the opposition not jogging along side welcoming a shot/cross?!

^ The third goal shows exactly why Wenger has zero faith in Podolski and wanted to ship him out in Summer. He'd been on the pitch a couple of minutes and still didn't put in the effort to come and close down the guy who crossed the ball. Lack of game time and sharpness cannot excuse that: it's either laziness or a complete lack of defensive awareness, and it's far from the first time. Yes he's a great finisher, but the team needs more than that from him.
Of course you can't blame Podolski for the entire shambles of last night, but next time you're wondering why he doesn't get more of a chance in the side, remember that goal.
