Hi all quick off topic question. Does anybody know what the deal with a company car is?
Do you have to pay for fuel?
Do you have to pay loads extra in tax? (How much?)
Do they cover tax/insurance?
To keep add a footballing nature to this article, did anybody get a little worried with the gaps openning up behind our centre mid when Ando and Cleverly play together.

Hmm sounds a good deal then, means i can sell my old car.
Suppose it depends on how much i get done in tax. Probly £200 extra?
=============
that depends on your income!
i have a company car with a fuel card and tracker.
i use the fuel card, the tracker collates all mileage.... then any mileage done outside the hours of 9am - 5:30 i get charged for out of my monthly salary. having a company car is def a perk, no expenditure apart from the higher rate of tax and personal mileage. the higher rate of tax generally is cheaper than most car insurances/road tax as well so u should be onto a winner really.

i probably save about £300.00 per month having a company car... although my insurance wasnt cheap after 3 points for speeding, 3 points for using a mobile phone and 2 bloody accidents in the last 5 years!

No, but the company didn't ask for proof of age!
Company just offered me a job but at a lower wage than I exected, but with a Company Car...
What value would you guy put on it .
Oh an if you see a 12 year old kid driving an astra that'll be me.

Happens a lot when you play 4-4-2, no matter who the two are in the middle.
It used to happen with Keano and Scholes as well.

"No, but the company didn't ask for proof of age!"
Then I wouldn't bother if I were you, as with all the documentation required, your age will inevitably come to light.
If you did somehow manage to get the car, you would be uninsured, so any accident you had could well result in you facing criminal charges on top of getting the sack.
Not that I'd give a flying one personally; idiot kids in uninsured cars have destroyed far too many lives already.
