Fine then play Rami in Willians position. Liverpool will be up for it like usual which will require someone like Ramires and i see no reason to drop Oscar atm.

I know you want to make the change but I still don't see why you want to change which is why I asked what it is Liverpool have, other than 'being up for it', that you think requires us to change.

I wouldnt underestimate them, i cant remember any games against them that were particularly easy. He rested key players too this week and we are coming off a match tomorrow night to then play a lunch time kick off on Saturday. We need to be on our guard

So essentially i would rest Oscar and Fab tonight (Matic too if it is possible) and try to put out the best side on saturday balancing physical condition and quality

I dont think tonight will be a walk in the park.

2 weeks ago they looked decent to start with we scored a good goal, then a soft penalty and an offside goal.

at 3-0 down half time they gave up but if it was 1-0 the 2nd half may have been different (we still would have won but not playing the way we did)

Fabregas, Matic and Costa all to start, then duly subbed off for Ake, Ramires and Drogba when we've built a comfortable lead tonight.

Or maybe Salah for Eden as the last change, instead of Drogba for Costa(due match fitness ahead of Liverpool).
