Is the transfer merry go round starting

The transfer window draws ever closer. City and Arsenal agree a fee (thought to be around £23m). Will Arsenal now start spending some of that money? If they went in for Cahill, Bolton would probably spend half of it on SWP and Ngog. If Arsenal went for Dann, then Birmingham would probably just bank it, towards the cost of relegation. If Arsenal went for Jagielka, where and whom would Everton spend it on.

Likewise, If Spurs buy Diarra, and Adebayor on loan, would this prompt Stoke or QPR to buy Crouch and or Palacios. I think we may start to see a number of purchases, and possibly a few panick buys, and maybe a few bargains, as all clubs try to off load their unfancied squad members

It's gonna be an interesting end to the transfer window I think.

But nothing will top the transfer deadline day from August 2008. That was just a crazy day.

... Or summer 2006 was it? Our last minute loan deal for the legend that was DaMarcus Beasley.

I missed that transfer day in 2008, I was walking and camping in the border wilderness and when i arrived in a local village they were all Newcastle fans talking about KK, it was only when i said I was a City fan that they mentioned a takeover and Robinho transfer,

i knew nothing about it !!!!!

gratedbean I rate Gary Cahill highly but RM dosen't seem to rate him at all. This will explain why he is after Sabastian Coates from Nacional which is based in Uraguay.

I am sure a deal could be reached with Bolton as they are vary intersted in SWP, so a swap + Nedum on loan for a season + cash in their favour would might be agreable to them. It's surely worth a punt is it not.

I think it's definitely worth a punt, that Coates lad is only 20 as well though isn't he?

yeah things finally seem to be rolling.

all a bit ridiculous - why don't they just limit the ol transfer window to one week? - would make excellent viewing on skysports news - like supermarket sweep, I can see Arry's head exploding with the excitement and City just sending a mini bus down to the Emirates - roll up lads!
