HaaK: So here we are in HaaK's front room in Battersea, a prestigious location for the Dream League Merger Cup Live(ish) Draw.

With me to do the draw I have a true legend of the game. This man is one of few home-grown players in recent(ish) years to play abroad. He racked up almost 400 career appearances over a 15-year career and despite this he achieved absolutely nothing of note.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the one, the only... Phil Babb.

Phil, thanks for being with us.

Phil Babb: No problem HaaK, I've been looking forward to it for months. Gets me out of the house, you know.

HaaK: Lovely stuff. Well let's get on with it, shall we?

Babbster: I was hoping I could give a quick shout out to my cat, Princess Plumpkin. She's watching at home. She watches me all the time, even when I'm eating, or doing the laundry, or crying myself to sleep after my 14th wánk of the day...

HaaK: I'll just interrupt you there Phil and give our viewers a quick rundown of the teams in today's draw. We have 8 teams in the top flight and 8 in Division 2. Each pair will comprise one team from each league. We'll draw out the Division 1 team first, followed immediately by the Div 2 team they're paired up with. Complex and fascinating stuff, I'm sure you'll agree.

Babb: I don't get it.

HaaK: The teams are numbered according to alphabetical order, so the numbers are as follows:

Some strong teams in the mix there, and Basingstoke. Any early favourites Phil? Who would you like to be drawn with?
