So the noises have started it is highly likely Madrid will make a move for Lloris in the summer. They will probs come out that the deal has already been done, Lloris is a boyhood madrid fan, they may even start selling his shirt in the club shop. This is the sort of club Madrid is. I for one would not begrudge Lloris a move lets be honest we are pretty poor at the moment.
However I keep thinking about this partnership Madrid and Spurs were meant to have which is so one sided. Madrid just take our best players (at premium price it must be said) and we get nothing from them, not even a loan deal for one of there squad players, although they did us a massive favour selling that mutant to Arsenal for 42m.
Anyway does anyone know if this partnership still exists and how it was meant to benefit Spurs. Does anyone thing Lloris will be with us next season? If he goes how much should we get I am thinking 25m+

I`m all for selling to Madrid. I reckon if they can weedle £45 million out of Arsenal for Ozil, Spurs can easily get £50 million for one of the best goalies in the world.

They are more successful than Barca. But no way is Ronaldo more successful than Messi. Messi hit a peak three or four years back that Ronaldo will never match. Ronaldo midweek was painfully poo, and I don`t care how many goals has scored previously. Too much up his own arssse to be better than Messi.

Ibrahimović, Sanchez & Fabregas are to prime examples off messi not liking players who could take the limelight away from him!
Plus Ronaldo has done it in two leagues and carried Portugal a fair few times too

Barca apparently took a 3 mill hit in order to allow Sanchez his wish to join arsenal instead of liverpool so we should do the same. If he wants to leave then fair enough, but offer him to other big/rich clubs such as PSG, Barca, Juve for less.
I don't want anyone in part-exchange from madrid, I don't want their money. I don't want to deal with them full stop.
He handed in a transfer request to me on FIFA 15 and I immediately turned down £24m from those madrid goverment-funded caaaants, but then the board sold him behind my back.... wasn't having that so I left them for Lyon

It's better than last years IMO.
Anyway forget my diversions, if I was Levy and found that their behaviours and negotiation tactics weren't t my liking I simply wouldn't deal with them or any club for that matter, 'law of the jungle' or not. There's a way of conducting business properly and I don't believe they do so, nor Bayern Munich for that matter for the way they continue to unsettle Dortmund players.

Lloris will be sold sooner or later, the least we will get is £25m but you just know Levy will have a £50m price tag on his head so somewhere in between is more likely.

A keeper of his class does deserve to be playing at the top level of football, he's one of the top 6 in world football IMO.
If/when he does to go anywhere but Real Government Handouts CF, we should use the money wisely. Vorm is a good keeper but only about 70% sure I'd be happy for him to become number 1.
